Arts Academy of Spokane is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping local youth be exposed to and encouraged by the arts. We are working with local Title 1 schools - staff and parents - along with community members to provide a safe, accepting and positive environment to help build confidence and identity with the various arts - visual, performing and music.
Our goal is to help students connect with an aspect of the arts that piques their interest and provide further training to develop their talents. We aim to provide a local artist in said area of the arts to help mentor and encourage students that progress in the program. We also strive to allow students the opportunity to enjoy the professional aspects of the arts through field trips to local museums, art exhibits, concerts and plays. We are excited to serve local youth and spread awareness and appreciation for the arts.
